who am i

I’m a freelance editor and journalist with a typically wide range of interests, among them climate change (I’m a sceptic), fracking (I’m on the side of job creation and poverty alleviation), wildlife (I’m a conservationist), politics (as a spectator), Africa and South Africa. Luckily, I get to research many of these interests – either for articles I’m writing myself or for those that are being written by other freelancers for one of the publications I edit or publish.

What this means is I know a little about a lot and I have opinions that have taken many years to form. Having said that, I’m always willing to learn new stuff so if you think I’ve got something wrong or am being overly biased, by all means let me know either by posting a comment or emailing me.
